Currently we have 40+ phlebotomists working at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon.

We also provide Phlebotomy Services for the Community Group Practices in Concord, Manchester, and Nashua, NH employing an additional 30+ Phlebotomists.

  • Outpatient Phlebotomy in Lebanon draws approximately 500 patients per day.
  • Inpatient Phlebotomy in Lebanon draws approximately 400-500 per day.

Our Phlebotomists work with a variety of patients from newborns to geriatric patients.
Phlebotomists perform blood draws, but there are many other tasks they may complete, such as working on the computers, as a trouble-shooter completing complicated lab slips and contacting providers for verification, or greeting patients. We also have staff who pursue their ASCP certification and become trainers for our department.
We have many different skill levels in our department, from new to experienced phlebotomists, and all skill levels are well utilized.

Additionally, we have a “No Experience Necessary – 90-Day Paid Training Program”.

This program requires a High School Diploma, a focus on customer service and providing a great patient experience, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Early morning, day, evening, and night shifts. Rotating weekends and holidays required. Generous shift differentials provided.
