The Histology Department at DHMC provides high quality slides to Pathology around the clock.
An organizational commitment to state of the art technology keeps the department at the edge of innovation. Digital images of diagnostic slides are captured and catalogued by the Whole Slide Imaging service for purposes of research, medical education, publication, consultation and tumor boards. Histology offers a robust menu of tests, such as Immunohistochemistry (including prognostic markers), DIF, Enzyme Histochemistry, Special Stains and Nerve Teasing. This fast paced, high volume laboratory is staffed with professionals who value quality patient care, a positive work environment and teamwork!
